    Kim Cannan is a well known Guitarist/Composer residing on the Central Coast of N.S.W. Originally from Sydney ; Kim's career in music began as a soloist in various acoustic venues throughout the state and has progressed into an international instrumentalist. Kim has released 3 fine C.D.'s and is currently embarking on her latest project of music for film.

    Jack Yabsley joined Network Ten as a Sydney-based reporter for the award winning childrens program Totally Wild in 2004.Having never owned any pets (apart from a beloved goldfish), Jack is reveling in the chance to experience all things Totally Wild from camels and horses, to dolphins and apes. He enjoys watching all of the weird and wonderful things animals can get up to however you'll find him keeping a fair distance from any snakes and ferrets two of his least favourite species!

    ALINTA MANASSERIAN - Totally Wild Presenter
    Alinta Manasserian, at just 23, has been fortunate enough to travel much of Australia and has a strong appreciation for music, film, animals and nature. Born in Tasmania, Alinta grew up in Alice Springs and enjoyed an active childhood. Gaining an immense respect for our native flora and fauna and indigenous culture, Alintas love of adventure and the environment has seen her climb Ayers Rock, explore the wetlands of Kakadu, and snorkel the Great Barrier Reef. Her role as presenter on Totally Wild is a dream come true and she could not be happier about becoming the newest member of the team and cant wait to share her love of Australia with the rest of us.

    11-1pm meet Jack & Alinta, get their autograph and have a photo taken with them so you can show all your friends
    1pm-1:30 watch Jack & Alinta brave the snapping jaws of Eric the crocodile when they assist in the birthday feed

    Martin Killips - Children's Poet

    Martin Killips was born in Malaysia . Until he was two he shared his cot with a Lar Gibbon (a type of tailless monkey) now Martin is the author of his recently released Big Bamboo stories and poems for children .

    What's happening on the Day:

    Glenn Coombs is a nice man. He works hard and tries to do what's right. He doesn't deserve Hamish MacWolf . but he has to work with him regardless. Sit back and enjoy the ride as Hamish and Glenn fight for control of the show, the audience, and Glenn's sanity. You'll have as much fun watching Hamish as he has tormenting Glenn .

    What's happening on the Day: Hamish and Glenn will be doing their best to amaze you with feats of mystery... actually, it's just Glenn's second-rate conjuring tricks. There's also fantastic games for kids to play, like 'Belly Button Basketball' and 'Lob the Bluebottle'... well, we think they're fantastic, anyway.     Glenn Ford - Cartoonist (The Phantom)

     

    About the Celebrity: Glenn started drawing covers for the Australian Phantom comic publisher, Frew, in 1989. Since then he has drawn over 50 comic covers, produced the world's first computer-generated comic cover (issue #1,000), become one of only two Australian artists to draw a complete story ('the Search for Byron'), created 3 Phantom trading card series, posters, phone cards, T-shirts, storyboards for the Phantom film and contributed design and illustration to Phantom products from all over the world.

    What's happening on the Day:Glen will display a selection of his artwork, including some originals, at the ARP including some limited edition prints and other memorabilia will be available for sale, as well. He will sign any of his covers or cards that you may want to bring along.
    Glenn will be giving a workshop on how to draw the Phantom.

    Simon Marnie 702 ABC Sydney

     

    About the Celebrity:
    After graduating from a radio course at the Australian Film TV and Radio School, Simon was offered a full time position at Triple J. Since then he has worked in community and commercial broadcasting, both behind the scenes and in front of the microphone. He conceived and produced SBS TV's music show - nomad, produced on WOW TV and reported on ABC TV's TVTV. These roles, along with a stint of home duties, child rearing, chefing and voice work, eventually led Simon back to a career in full-time radio with Tony Delroy's NightLife on ABC Local Radio.

    Skye Bortoli - 2006 Girlfriend of the Year/Whale Conservationist & The Jitterbugs

     

    Skye BortoliAbout Skye Bortoli : Skye is a passionate advocate for whales and is dedicated in educating people on the dangers that threat whales around the world. After winning 2006 Girlfriend of the Year Skye donated her prize money to the International Fund for Animal Welfare and dolphin research and continues fundraising for these organisations. Syke's next stop is Alaska where she will attend the International Whaling Commission Summit.

    What's happening on the Day:
    11-11:30 - Skye will assist in the Reptile Show
    12-12:30 - mini workshop with Skye - Skye will talk about how people can help not only protect whales, but all our animals. She will discuss the effects of pollution and litter and how we can help. There will be a colouring in for the children and prizes to be won.
    1-1:30 - assist in Eric the crocodile feed
    1:30-2:00pm - Meet Skye and get her autograph


    The Jitterbugs

    About the Jitterbugs: GET UP & GO  with "The Jitterbugs" show. An exciting, high energy, interactive, bright, colourful & educational children's show filled with many friendly characters, including new young and energetic hosts of our show "Jessica and Jackson".
