Go behind the scenes at the Australian Reptile Park and discover what it really takes to care for our incredible animals. Adult Keeper for a Day is a full day, hands-on wildlife experience designed for animal lovers aged 18 and over.
With an all-access look into our daily routines, participants join our expert keepers for animal encounters, behind the scenes access and unforgettable wildlife moments. With small group sizes, it is an intimate, once in a lifetime adventure for anyone passionate about animals and conservation.

Activities may include:
- Learning correct handling techniques with a range of reptiles, birds and mammals
- Exclusive behind the scenes access including venom rooms and keeper workspaces
- Helping with animal feeding, enrichment and daily care routines
- Assisting with enclosure maintenance and interacting with park residents
- Keeper talks and gain insights into wildlife conservation

What does it cost?
Adult Keeper for a Day is $299.99 per person and includes:
- Entry to the Australian Reptile Park
- Behind the scenes, hands on wildlife experience from 9.00am to 4.00pm
- Morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea
- Certificate of completion

- Access to discounted photo passes and Annual Passes for the participant and their family
Optional extras:
Enjoy professional photo opportunities throughout the tour and save 15% on photo packages. A single printed and digital photo is $29.99, while the Snappy Pass gives you four photos for $89.99, with one photo free! Discounted photo packages are available online or at the gate.
Things to note
- Suitable clothing and enclosed footwear must be worn
- Participants must be 18 years or older
- Limited to one group per day with 16 participants
- Minimum of 6 participants is required for the program to run
- Please advise Reception of any dietary requirements prior to the day
