The Australian Reptile Park is OPEN! On 1 June 2020, we reopened in a careful and responsible way with all social distancing measures and COVID-safe procedures in place.

We are encouraging visitors to pre-purchase tickets online to help reduce interactions between visitors and customer service staff. You may also purchase tickets upon arrival at the gate if you are unable to purchase online.

The Australian Reptile Park is Australiaโs original hands-on zoo. Home to over 2,000 animals and located in a natural bush setting on the scenic Central Coast of New South Wales.
Cuddle up to koalas, kangaroos, quokkas and dingoes or test your bravery and hold a massive python!
Learn about the lifesaving work the Park does through its antivenom program and important conservation work saving Australiaโs wildlife through the charity Aussie Ark.
Only 60 minutes from Sydney or Newcastle, the Australian Reptile Park is a centrepiece attraction of the Central Coast. Look out for Australiaโs first โBig Thingโ – Ploddy the dinosaur, visible just before the Gosford exit heading north on the M1.

Alligator Nest Raids Get Hearts Racing
Australian Reptile Park keepers undertook a highly dangerous alligator nest raid in the alligator lagoon. Home to 35 adult alligators, the process is extremely dangerous and certainly keeps the hearts of staff racing.
