Your journey begins with exclusive access to Kraken’s enclosure, where our expert keepers introduce you to Kraken then watch in awe as he moves with steady, powerful confidence. Then get ready for something truly special: you’ll have the rare chance to gently pat Kraken under the guidance of our experienced team.
Throughout the encounter, you’ll have your keeper host all to yourself for questions, stories, and insights into Kraken’s behaviour, training, and the unique challenges of caring for such an extraordinary reptile. Komodo Dragon Encounter Details
- Price: $110 per person
- Session time: very day these school holidays at 10:30am
- Duration: 20 minutes
- Age limit: Strictly 12 years+
- Group limit: Max. 2 people per session
Please Note
- Please ensure you arrive at Reception no later than 15 minutes before the start of the Encounter as you will receive a safety briefing from Keepers.
- Enclosed shoes must be worn during the encounter
- Only paying participants will be able to attend this encounter
- This encounter does not include park entry

Frequently Asked Questions
No, our animal encounter prices do not include general admission to the Park. Admissions tickets can be purchased in your checkout.
Our Cassowary Encounters can be booked for people ages strictly 12+.
Suitable and comfortable clothing and footwear must be worn on the day. We recommend long pants to avoid any scratches.
If at the time of your encounter there is extreme weather or other conditions, the encounter will be cancelled to ensure the wellbeing of our animals.
Bookings for Animal Encounters are non-refundable. In the event that you cannot attend your booked time, we will endeavour to arrange another time, subject to availability.
